Our Classes
We offer classes on different levels as well as social dance and weekend workshops. All weekly lessons take place at Skovvangskolen, Aarhus N. Read more about the different classes and their requirements below.

Please note that to participate in any of our events, you must be a member of the community. Membership costs 20 DKK/year.
Intro class
When: Wednesdays 18.15-19.30
Where: Skovvangskolen, Skovvangsvej 150, 8200 Aarhus N
Prices:
Single: 250 DKK (6 lessons)
Couple: 400 DKK (6 lessons)
Requirements for the intro class
This is your chance to learn the basic steps of West Coast Swing from the beginning. The lessons will cover the basic moves of the dance (passes, pushes, tucks and whips) and you will gain a better understanding of the musicality and feeling of this dance.
The intro class is 6 lessons in total. After this, you will be able to join our weekly beginner class, where we focus on musicality, styling, and more.
The course will be taught in Danish or English depending on the participants.
We will rotate during the classes so you will dance with everyone.
Beginner class
When: Wednesdays 20.05-21.20
Where: Skovvangskolen, Skovvangsvej 150, 8200 Aarhus N

Single: 500 DKK per season
Couple: 900 DKK per season (450/person)
Requirements for the beginner class
To participate in the beginners' class, you must have completed our intro class (6 lessons) OR have completed similar courses elsewhere.
The instruction will be in Danish, or English if there are English-speaking participants in the group.
Come as you are, with or without a partner – we rotate partners during the class, so everyone can join in!
The beginner class is two full seasons (one year), each consisting of 12 lessons of 75 minutes followed by a mini social dance.
Improver class
When: Wednesdays 20.05-21.20

Single: 500 DKK per season
Couple: 900 DKK per season (450/person)
Requirements for the improver class
To participate in the improvers' class, you must have completed two seasons of the beginner class (one year).
The instruction will be in Danish, or English if there are English-speaking participants in the group.
Come as you are, with or without a partner – we rotate partners during the class, so everyone can join in!
One season consists of 12 lessons, each lasting 75 minutes followed by a mini-social of 30 minutes.
Advanced class
When: Thursdays 18.00-20.00
Where: Skovvangskolen, Skovvangsvej 150, 8200 Aarhus N

Requirements for the advanced class
To participate in the advanced class you must be approved by an instructor through an audition.
These lessons will deep-dive into different skills related to your dancing, e.g. musicality, partner work, solo drills and more advanced patterns. The full requirements, prices and auditions for this level are still in development.
Note that these lessons take place on Thursdays.
